Do I need the app to import my TV Time history?
No. The importer runs right in your browser at pocketstubs.com. Apps are also available for iOS and Android if you want to keep tracking on your phone.
Is it free?
Yes. Importing your TV Time history and using PocketStubs' core tracking features is free.
Do I need to unzip the TV Time export first?
No. Upload gdpr-data.zip exactly as TV Time gave it to you — PocketStubs reads it as-is. You don't need to extract it, rename it, or open any of the CSV files inside.
How do I import my TV Time data on Android or iPhone?
Save gdpr-data.zip to your phone — it's usually in Downloads or Files — then open PocketStubs and go to Settings, Import from TV Time, Choose export file. Pick the zip and confirm. It's the same importer as the web version, so you can start on one and finish on the other.
I missed the export deadline. Can I still get my TV Time data?
Unfortunately not. TV Time's export tool at gdpr.tvtime.com went offline when the service shut down on 15 July 2026, and histories that weren't exported before then were deleted. If you did download the zip at any point, it still works — the file doesn't expire.
What actually comes across from TV Time?
Your followed shows, every episode you marked watched, your films, your ratings, and your watchlist. Shows are matched by their TheTVDB ID rather than by name, so remakes and shows that share a title land on the right entry. Anything the importer isn't certain about is shown to you before it's saved, and you can correct it.
How is this different from Trakt or Simkl?
All three will take your TV Time export, and if you just want your history somewhere safe, any of them will do that. How long does the import take?
